Visitor frequently asked questions

When is it on?

Murrumbateman Field Days are always held on the third weekend of October.

Opening hours

The Field Days’ are open to the public on the Saturday from 8.00am till 5.00pm and on the Sunday from 8.00am till 4:00pm.

Is there a parking fee?

Parking is FREE.

Are dogs allowed at Murrumbateman Field Days?

Here in the country, we all love our dogs, but due to public health and safety issues we do not allow dogs on the site. For the safety of your pets and the safety of other visitors, please refrain from bringing your four-legged friend/s along.
Of course, working dogs that are competing and guide, medical aid or assistance dogs are welcome. Medical aid and assistance dogs will need documentation.

Are there disabled facilities?

Disabled toilets are available as is Disabled parking. Event Scooter Hire will have single and double seat scooters available for hire. Full details and online reservations are available on www.eventscooterhire.com.au. We recommend you pre-book or you can inquire on the day. Will there be ATM facilities at the site?

Yes, there will be ATMs available, the positions are marked on the map of the site. 

Will there be catering available?

Yes, a range of catering will be available over the two days on the Village Green. All catering at the Field Days is provided by community groups from local churches, schools, Rural Fire Service, Lions, etc. Check the Catering Map.

What are the conditions of entry?

Murrumbateman Field Days management reserves the right to refuse entry or eject any patrons deemed to be intoxicated or otherwise acting in a manner which may be deemed offensive at its own discretion.

Will my photograph be taken?

By entering the Murrumbateman Field Days event, all visitors consent to be photographed or filmed at the event and grant usage rights of any photographs taken to be used for promotional purposes at the discretion of Murrumbateman Field Days management and staff. Please advise the photographer if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed.

Will there be first aid facilities?

Yes, St John’s Ambulance will provide a first aid service – they will be located by the tennis courts.

What is the official program?

We have some great exhibitors, both returning and new. Musicians and entertainers will also be there to keep everyone interested. Make sure you get a copy of The Land’s Field Days program when you enter the event – it will have the full program, a list of exhibitors with maps that have all the attractions and exhibitors marked.

Is there a Parcel Pickup facility?

Yes, Sutton Primary School will be offering the Parcel Pickup delivery service for a small fee. You can call Sutton Primary School volunteers during the Field Days on 0490 863 212 to organise a pick up or you can go to the delivery point located on the map at VG6 by the South Gate. All funds raised go to the school.

 

Is there a Parenting Centre?

The Parenting Marquee will be next to the Field Days’ Office near the tennis courts – check signs or the map of sites.

Will police be present?

Police will again be on the grounds this year for the Murrumbateman Field Days. 

Is there a public bar?

A public bar is not planned at this stage. The Murrumbateman Country Inn is just across the road from the Field Days venue and passouts are available at the gate if you intend coming back in on the same day.

Is there a lost property stand?

Lost property can be left at the Murrumbateman Field Days Information Office. Check the map of sites.
