The 39th Murrumbateman Field Days is coming up on the weekend of 21 and 22 October and we’re marking out the exhibitor sites and checking communications. Nearly all exhibitor sites are sold and it’s going to be a full two days.
It’s going to be a great weekend out for the family – this year there’s a new Under5s area with face painting, balloon animals, bubble blowing, temporary tattoos and our new photo cutouts. For the littlies there’s also the NSW Rural Fire Service’s Inflatable Smoke House on the Oval, Children’s Farmyard and Outback Pony Rides. For older kids on the Oval there’s Bubble Soccer and nearby, there’s the V8 Racecar Simulator - experience a hot lap around some of Australia's great race tracks in a V8 race car or ute – in this simulator, it’s just like being there.
There’s also the new Marketplace on the Oval which is hosted by Murrumbateman Village Markets. OzHarvest will be there giving cooking demonstrations and talking to people about what they do. The Marketplace will also showcase the best from the region’s producers.
Parking is FREE. We ask people NOT to bring their pet dogs - due to public health and safety issues we do not allow dogs on the site. Of course working dogs that are competing, dogs that are part of an exhibitor’s display and guide or medical aid dogs are welcome. NOTE: IF YOU HAVE A MEDICAL AID DOG YOU MAY BE ASKED FOR DOCUMENTATION.
